My French Skincare Routine

I often blab about much I LOVE French skin care products. I'm kind of obsessed with them and frequently refer to them as my miracle creams. Let me tell you about my current favorites.

1 Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel

I've tried several face washes but keep coming back to this one. It does an excellent job of removing my make-up and making my skin feel squeaky clean. Effaclar is also soap and paraben-free.

I keep trying different face washes but always come back to this one. It's a classic in my book.

2 TriAcnéal

This is not a quick spot treatment that will magically make your zits disappear over night like I was hoping it would be, but it did work miracles when I used it like the Pharmacist told me to.

For those with persistent acne: Start by washing the area well with Effaclar (that's what she recommended) or a similar face wash and then apply a thin layer of Triacnéal all over the area. Let dry before applying moisturizer or putting on clothing. I noticed a major difference after two weeks.

I only have the occasional breakout now, but I use TriAcnéal about a week before my period to prevent zits and then use it as a spot treatment from time to time. A zit might not shrivel up overnight with this cream, but it will heal more quickly and you're less likely to scar. TriAcnéal also gets rid of those red marks that acne leaves behind.

3 Boréade Smoothing Skincare

I've just discovered this face cream, and I love it! It's very thin and doesn't leave my face oily at the end of the day. This cream is also supposed to remove blackheads and reduce the first signs of wrinkles. It's made by a very environmentally conscience company and 92% of it's ingredients are natural.

The only down side is that there isn't any SPF. Bummer.

This is my no means a sponsored post. I just had a few ladies from back home who were curious, so I thought I'd share with everyone. :)
